Publishing Standards

The basic standards we expect all printed material to uphold

To reach the high standards of published material that we have come to expect, it takes proofreading and revising.  Listed below are the basics all writers work toward:

Every word is spelled correctly.

Punctuation is used properly.

Capital letters are used in the right places.

Words have spaces between them.

The words are formed into sentences that make sense.

The information is presented in a sensible order.

Paragraphs are indented (or double spaced if a block form is used)

Proper grammar is used.

The writing is legible, neat, and in a consistent font.
